Fitness, Personal Development and Parenting an Autistic child all while being sober.

Tune in to learn about how this Father and incredible fitness coach shares his journey to sobriety. This insightful episode will help you understand the different ways of thinking about sobriety and life overall.

You will gain inspiration to stay sober another minute, hour or day.

On this episode we have Frederick (Fredy) Uceda is a Coach, Motivator, Recovering Alcoholic and Father to a beautiful autistic son. For years he worked as an HR Professional with the focus on creating a positive work environment for his employees. He then took that skill and applied into personal training and group fitness. The truth is, we are all working through something. Life is not easy. Yes, Fredy identifies as an addict but he is much more than that. He discovered that recovery is the most selfless act one can enter. Frederick is healthier and happier in recovery but the real winners are his loved ones, his family, and most importantly his son Xavier. Frederick declares that one should have purpose, no matter what they do in life and his son is his purpose. He has also partnered with several autism and recovery communities and has raised over $10,000 for various causes and holds a Burpees for Autism fundraiser every year to benefit the Doug Flutie Foundation.

Fitness provided him an outlet that alcohol used to fill. Fitness gave him a second life. He now lives his life trying to help others get to a healthier place in life through exercise, lifting weights and spreading positive energy to those he encounters. Frederick is also very transparent about his recovery journey, his struggles, his triggers, his demons and his successes. He is now 7 years sober but his work is just getting started. Every day is a new opportunity and every day alive is a reason to be grateful. So make every day count.
